I'm a writer with expertise in visual language—graphic design, illustration, photography, and fine art. Creative expression is my nexus. My expansive communication skills and strong creative inclination help me to ideate concepts and to interpret, define, and redefine brands to influence wider culture.
I am a graduate of Wayne State University where I received a B.A. in English specializing in the areas of both creative writing and communications. My love of writing has been enhanced by a strong knowledge base in the field of Graphic Design and the visual arts as well as a real passion for branding activities, i.e. creating, developing, and managing assets/actions that shape perception.
I currently serve as a Communications Manager for the second largest Teaching Health Center in the US where I lead and develop copy and digital content across media channels. Within this role I create rich content, storytelling, and marketing materials in the form of posts, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and C-suite communications to engage community stakeholders.
